Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. Due to the divisions, disputes, and internal dissatisfaction seen in the last term, this time the members have appeared more cautious in selecting the leadership. "Entering the sixth week of the show 'Laaj Sharnam'"

 

Kathmandu. The film Laaj Sharnam* has entered its sixth week of screening. Released on Falgun 14 (February 26) coinciding with the occasion of Shivaratri, the movie has now completed its sixth week in theaters.  


The film, which began its successful journey with remarkable earnings on its very first day, continues to receive positive responses from audiences, as reported by the production team.  


Laaj Sharnam premiered with high audience turnout and continues to draw enthusiastic crowds to its shows. With consistently positive feedback from viewers, the film is expected to sustain its theatrical run for some more time.  


“Laaj Sharnam has successfully entered its sixth week,” said producer Naveen Shrestha. “The film received great audience response and strong business, entering its third week with momentum. Even now, the number of viewers in available shows remains high.”  


Laaj Sharnam collected 1.1 crore Nepalese rupees on its opening day. Subsequent box office figures have not yet been disclosed by the producers.  


The film, produced by the team behind the popular comedy serial Sakkigoni, features performances by Sitaram Kattel, Vijay Baral, Arpan Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Mukund Shrestha, Vijay Lama, Renunath Yogi, Sagar Lamsal, Hari Niroula, Arjun Ghimire, Kamalmani Nepal, Priyanka Acharya, Dayahang Rai, and Buddhi Tamang, among others.  


Directed by Kumar Kattel (Jigri), Laaj Sharnam is produced under the banner of JPT Creations, with Naveen Shrestha as the producer and  Ram Naresh Shah and  Srijana Khadka as co-producers.
