Trilateral clash in NRNA America, Kharel, Sah for president, and Anup Khanal takes over as Adhikari general secretary

The voting process for selecting the new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) USA began on Sunday. About 13,000 members of the association will vote for their preferred candidates through ballots sent via email and mobile. This time, there will be a three-way competition between Bhanu Kharel, Satendra Sah, and Ramhari Adhikari for the post of president. All three candidates were intensifying the final phase of activities to woo voters before the election. The poster for Narsingha: Avatar has been unveiled.

 

Kathmandu – The poster for the movie “Narsingha: Avatar” has been unveiled, announcing its release date for the upcoming year on Jestha 9 (May 22, 2025). The poster was revealed at an event held at Global College in Kathmandu, attended by over 500 students.  


Rakesh Dahal designed the film's posters, featuring actor Hamal in one poster and actor Raj Katwal in another. The background of the posters includes an image of Lord Narsingha.  


Written and directed by Divakar Bhattarai, this movie marks actor Rajesh Hamal's return to the Nepali film industry after 8 years, which is why audiences are eagerly awaiting its release. During the event, a large-sized poster of the film was unveiled. Hamal mentioned that this was the first time in his long film career that he had seen such a massive poster.  


The film stars Rajesh Hamal alongside Saroj Khanal, Nir Shah, Raj Katwal, Neeti Shah, Sanisha Bhattarai, Usha Khadgi, Arjun Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Ramesh Chand Sodari, Prakash Kunwar, Rajiv Jung Basnet, Deepa Shahi, Prabhu Shrestha, Amit Giri, Evelina Khadka, Samaira Thapa, Asha Paudel, and others.  


The cinematography is handled by Raju Vikram Thapa, while Kaviraj Gahatraj and Michael Chand are the choreographers. Chandra Pant is the action director, Milan Shrestha and Sahil Khan are the editors, and Shambhujit Banskota and Arjun Pokharel are the music composers. Deepak Sharma Dhakal, Narendra Maharjan, Dhruv Neupane, and Nem Maharjan have invested in the film. Karan Singh is the production designer, and Basant Adhikari is the associate director.
