Indo Nepal Sujan Music Award 2024 concluded in Delhi, Riya Regmi wins Best New Model

Kathmandu, 'Indo Nepal Sujan Music Award - 2024' was concluded on Monday in the capital of India, New Delhi. The program, which was organized with the aim of promoting folk culture, was attended by dozens of artists from Nepal and India.

Awards were given to the winning artists in various categories at the 'Indo Nepal Sujan Music Award 2024'. 

Folk singer and model Riya Regmi has become the winner of the award at the program. Riya won the award for Best New Model for the song Raharai Bho. She managed to win the award by beating her competitors. Riya has achieved many successes including this award within 2 years of entering the field of art. 

Riya was presented with the award for Best Music Video Model by veteran singer Sharmila Gurung and veteran singer Indra Ji. After the award ceremony, the winners said that they will continue to work harder in this field.


According to Jamuna Rana, the chairperson of Sujan Music Pvt. Ltd., this is the second time that the award program for Nepalis has been organized in India.

The Indo Nepal Sujan Music Award-2024 was organized grandly in New Delhi, India this year as well. The award program was organized by Sujan Music Pvt. Ltd. to honor the contribution of musicians in Nepal and India to Nepali music. The nomination form for the award program was opened, the entire process was completed, and the winner was declared the winner after voting. 


Awards were given in 33 different categories at the award program, and various individuals and creators who have contributed to the music field were also honored, said singer Rana Magar, chairperson of the organizing committee. The nomination for this award program was held in Nepal, and the final program of the award was held in New Delhi, India.

The award categories include National Feeling Song, Best Folk Duo Song, Best Solo Folk Singer/Singer, Best Original Song Singer/Singer, Best Singer/Singer, Best Model, Best New Model, Best Language, Best Lyrics, Best Songwriter, Best New Singer/Singer, and the best artists in the field of music. 

The program was held on Magh 13 at the ITO of Pyarelal Bhavan in New Delhi, India, along with a cultural program among renowned artists. 

According to the organizer, this second Indo-Nepal Sujan Music Award-2081 program has been organized in the history of Nepali music to classify contributions to music in various categories and to honor the senior song composers and presenters who are continuously active in this field. 

With the aim of preserving and promoting Nepali music, Sujan Music Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2070 BS. Nepali Geet is an active music production organization in Nepal, active in the field of music. In the glorious journey of producing and publishing Nepali songs and music, this organization has been able to make a distinct contribution to the field of Nepali and other languages ​​by collaborating with many singers and musicians and publishing hundreds of songs and music compositions in physical and digital technology.

Such a program will honor the leading artists active in the field of Nepali songs and music and encourage collaboration between singers and musicians active in Nepal and India in the field of songs and music, said Rana Magar, chairperson of the organizing committee.
